Municipal Plan 2026/27
Council has endorsed the Draft Municipal Plan 2026/27, including the proposed budget and schedule of fees and charges, for public consultation.
The draft plan is now available for community review and feedback.
The Municipal Plan is prepared each year and outlines Council’s proposed services, projects, budget and fees for the year ahead. It is an important document that helps guide Council’s work and decision-making.
Community feedback is an important part of the process before the final plan is considered by Council.
We encourage residents, businesses and community groups to take the time to have a look and let us know what they think.
The Draft Municipal Plan 2026/27 is available for public review and comment through this page.
Feedback can be provided by completing the survey, emailing records@ktc.nt.gov.au, or delivering a written submission to Council’s customer service office at 29 Crawford Street, Katherine.
The elected members will also be holding a stall from 10 am - 2 pm on Friday, 12th June, at Woolworths in the Oasis Shopping Centre. They will also be at the Katherine Town Council stall at the Katherine Research Station open day on 13th June. Submissions close: 23 June 2026.
Feedback received during the consultation period will be considered before the Municipal Plan 2026/27 is presented to Council for final adoption.
